Post Party II
The second installation of this work in the VCA Student Gallery November 2008.
This is the first installation in the Post Party series, produced in August 2008. Balloons were filled with paint, water and flour and then thrown against an object that I had constructed from past works and debris in my studio. I was interested in the dichotomy between the highly controlled process of creating the situation and throwing the balloons in contrast to the unexpected and uncontrolled results that occurred.
